A few days ago, I attended WordCamp Sylhet 2026, my fifth WordCamp. One of the most enjoyable sessions of the event was the panel discussion, “Contributor Showcase: Representing Bangladesh.”
It was one of the highlights of the conference, featuring five speakers: Mumtahina Faguni Apu, Ahmed Kabir Chaion Bhai, Md Noruzzaman Bhai, Anzuman Ara Chowdhury Apu, and Huzaifa Al Mesbah Bhai.
They are all prominent contributors and inspiring figures in the global WordPress community, continuously inspiring us to give back to the community.
Listening to their WordPress contribution journeys, experiences, and stories was truly inspiring. It was an amazing experience that is difficult to express in words.
The most unforgettable moment came at the end of the session, when they called the names of 10 Bangladeshi WordPress contributors, including me, and invited us to the stage.
Hearing my name and standing on that stage alongside so many amazing WordPressians was an incredibly special moment. It is a feeling I will never be able to fully express in words.
